In this unit of study we will investigate what has emerged as global good practice in terms of ICT and education, as well as identify what your role is in this regard. As an introduction consider the video below that demonstrates how educators, ICT and development are linked to national priorities.

By the end of this unit, you should be able to use ICT to:

• Appreciate your significant role in national development
• Be aware of the potential benefits of ICT in teaching and learning
• Be aware of the potential benefits of ICT in class and school administration 
• Be aware of the potential benefits of ICT to your own continuing professional development
• Be able to identify specific ICT skills you wish to acquire using the UNESCO ICT competency framework for teachers (CFT).

In deze studie-eenheid zullen we onderzoeken wat naar voren is gekomen als wereldwijde goede praktijken op het gebied van ICT en onderwijs, en wat jouw rol hierin is. Meiosis is a process where germ cells divide to produce gametes, such as sperm and egg cells. In prophase I of meiosis, chromosomes condense and homologous recombination takes place, leading to genetic variation through chromosomal crossover. This forms a tetrad, which is made up of four chromatids (two sister chromatids per chromosome).

Comparison of the processes of mitosis and meiosis. • Describe how the concept of density relates to an object's mass and volume.

• Measure the volume of an object by observing the amount of fluid it displaces.
• Identify an unknown material by calculating its density and comparing to a table of known densities.
